La Nina Chamoy

About us

Our Story

La Niña Chamoy Candies Artesanal was born from a family recipe passed down with love.

Founder Chely Gonzalez, inspired by her grandfather Abuelito Luis Murillo from Uruapan, Michoacán, continues his legacy by crafting traditional chamoy candies by hand — just the way he taught her.

Each batch is made with real fruits, natural ingredients, and a touch of family love. For Chely, artesanal isn’t just a word — it’s a promise of authenticity, care, and heritage.

What started as a passion project, has now grown into a beloved international brand, celebrating Mexican tradition and the sweetness of home. Through every jar, Chely shares a piece of her culture — one handcrafted candy at a time.

Our Mission

To craft artisanal chamoy candies that honor our Mexican roots, celebrate family tradition, and bring people together — one sweet, spicy, and tangy bite at a time.

Each jar is made with real fruit, natural ingredients, and a whole lot of corazón.
From our family in Chicago to yours, we’re proud to share the authentic flavor of Uruapan, Michoacán. with the world.

Three Generations of Love, Flavor, and Legacy

Three generations connected by love and flavor.
My grandpa Luis Murillo, the heart behind our recipe.
My daughter Jairy González and I proudly continue his legacy, one chamoy at a time.
